The invention is characterised in that: before connection with the adhesive (5), a plurality of perforation holes (6) are applied at least in the region of the gutter edges or folding edges of the security laminate (4) and/or of the data pages (3); the gutter edges or folding edges of the data pages (3) and optionally of the security laminate (4) are connected to one another by means of the adhesive (5), which is designed as an elastomeric polymer (5), wherein the adhesive (5) enters through the perforation holes (6) or into same; and at the same time or subsequently the front and rear book binding or book cover (2) are connected to the gutter edges or folding edges of the security laminate (4) and of the data pages (3) in the book spine region.
