Abstract (en)
A laminated log structure comprises a number of horizontal superposed laminated logs (100). The laminated logs (100) include one or more vertical-grain-direction lamellas (120a, 120b) for limiting the settling of the laminated log structure (200), and at least one horizontal-grain-direction lamella (110a, 110b) on both sides of the one or more vertical-grain-direction lamellas (120a, 120b). The laminated logs (100) are fastened to each other by first screws (210) which, together with the vertical-grain-direction lamellas (120a, 120b), are arranged to bear the load of the laminated log structure (200). In addition to the laminated log structure (200), a method for forming the laminated log structure (200), and use of screws for fastening the laminated logs (100) of the laminated log structure (200) to each other are also disclosed.
