Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018108861A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a three-dimensional motor vehicle interior element (2) through which light can shine and which has an observer-side surface, wherein the motor vehicle interior element (2) is produced in two steps. According to the invention, in order to simplify the method, in a first step, a three-dimensional transparent substrate is produced from a cross-linked polymer, and in a second step, the substrate is provided with a colouring (14) on an observer-side surface of the substrate, through which colouring light can be shone in a sub-region thereof. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle interior element (2) which is designed such that it is three-dimensional and light can be shone through same.
