[origin: WO2018108490A1] The invention relates to a transmission for a bicycle, comprising an input shaft (1), which can be connected to a pedal crank shaft (2) for conjoint rotation, and an output shaft (3), which can be connected to an output wheel for conjoint rotation. The transmission is characterized in that the transmission has at least three, in particular exactly three, planetary gearboxes, which are operatively connected to the input shaft and the output shaft, wherein a single one of the planetary gearboxes has a stepped planet gear (4) having a first toothed region (5) having a first diameter and a second toothed region (6) having a second diameter.
