[origin: EP3556262A1] The present invention concerns a modular metal shelving unit (1) for displaying goods, comprising at least two uprights (2) each provided with one or more slots (10), and at least one backboard (3, 3a) to be fixed between the two uprights and provided with at least one wing (9) emerging from each of its sides facing the uprights, the wing being intended to be inserted in a respective slot of a relative upright. The wings comprise a linear portion (9') and a folded portion (9") forming an angle (α) with the linear portion and the backboard has a useful extension (E), excluding the size of the wings, substantially equal to the inner distance (D) between the uprights in-between which it is inserted.
