[origin: WO2018115931A1] The invention relates to a carrying aid for shopping bags and other containers provided with carrying handles, comprising a receiving region which surrounds the carrying handles and is surrounded by the hand of the person grasping the carrying handles, wherein the carrying aid is formed from an upper shell and a lower shell, which are connected to each other in an articulated manner along a first longitudinal edge, and has at least one releasable closing means on the opposite second longitudinal edge, wherein the upper and lower shells which are closed to form the carrying aid form the receiving region between them for the carrying handles, and the carrying aid has an opening at each of the two ends, through which the inserted carrying handles emerge.
