[origin: WO2018115755A1] The invention relates to a shelf for an island cabinet, comprising an upper panel, a front face, a rear face, a first side and a second side, and at least one reinforcing piece (35) comprising a bottom wall (57), two legs (48) extending vertically from the bottom wall, and two bearing feet (49) extending from the two legs, at the opposite end from the bottom wall, and being mechanically attached to the upper panel, the bottom wall comprising at least three portions (80, 81, 82, 83, 84) each extending at least partially between the legs and being folded over onto themselves so as to form at least three superposed folds between the legs.
