[origin: WO2018114439A1] The invention relates to a method for forming plastic parisons to plastic bottles, comprising the following steps: - introducing in a blow mold a plastic parison (10) to be expanded, said blow mold having at least two lateral parts (14) and a base part (18) that is mobile in relation to said lateral parts (14) in a longitudinal direction (L) of the plastic parison (10); - inserting a rod-shaped element (34) in the interior of the plastic parison (10) through a mouth of the plastic parison (10); - applying a first pressure (P1) to the plastic parison (10); - applying a second pressure (Pi) to the plastic parison (10), said second pressure (Pi) deviating from the first pressure (P1) and preferably being higher than the first pressure (P1); and - applying a third pressure (P2) to the plastic parison (10), said third pressure (P2) deviating from the second pressure (Pi) and preferably being higher than the second pressure (Pi). According to the invention, the base part (18) is advanced in the longitudinal direction (L) of the plastic parison (10) in at least two different intervals while at least one of the pressures (P1, Pi, P2) is applied to the plastic parison (10).
