[origin: JP2019191179A] To provide a movement mechanism for a decoration element of a timepiece.SOLUTION: The movement mechanism for a decoration element 2 of a timepiece is provided in which the decoration element 2 includes at least two decoration faces 18a arranged around a core shaft 16 defining an axis of the decoration element 2. The movement mechanism comprises a circular drive element configured to be rotatable around a center axis and an opening 26 configured to show one of the decoration faces 18a of the decoration element 2. The decoration element 2 is assembled inside the opening 26 so as to rotate around the core shaft 16. The movement mechanism further comprises first drive means of rotatably driving the decoration element 2 around the core shaft 16 of the decoration element 2. The first rotatably driving means is assembled on the circular drive element and configured to cooperate with fixing operation means provided around the circular drive element. The decoration element 2, during rotation of the center axis, rotates around the core shaft 16 of the decoration element 2 and continuously displays the decoration faces 18a in the opening 26 of the circular drive element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
