Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018121915A1] The invention relates to a massage device (1) which is suitable for massaging the Achilles tendon (tendo Achilles) when the leg (7) is stretched. The massage device (1) has a housing (2) with a housing base (103") for positioning on a flat underlying surface (4). Additionally, two massage devices (3, 3') are provided which at least partly project beyond the housing (2) and can be motor-driven about a respective rotational axis (5). The rotational axes (5) are oriented perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction (6) of the leg (7). The massage devices (3, 3') are arranged on the housing (2) relative to each other such that the Achilles tendon of the leg can be placed at least partly between the massage devices. Furthermore, a support device (8) is provided which is arranged over the housing (2) and which is suitable as a leg rest during the massage process.
