Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017137134A1] Disclosed are a device and a method for the treatment of malignant diseases, which is individual to a patient, by using selectively acting tumor-destructive mechanical pulses (TMI). In this case, tumor-destructive pulse shapes are determined using physical cell properties, which are individual to each patient, and the device is controlled in such a manner that lethal pulse fields are applied in the tumor area.
