[origin: WO2019211728A1] The invention is directed to an autonomous fire protection system comprising a plurality of fire protection devices, including at least one fire extinguisher and at least one fire sensor. Each fire protection device has a unique identification number and comprises a communication unit with a receiver and a transmitter, and at least one fire protection device comprises a monitoring unit which ascertains and monitors the operating condition of the fire protection device.

Grundlage der Erfindung ist ein Lokalisierungs- und Kommunikationssystem für Feuerlöschgeräte umfassend eine Kommunikationseinheit und eine Signalisierungsvorrichtung. Die Kommunikationseinheit verfügt über mindestens einen Empfänger, der ein Signal von der Umgebung entgegennehmen und die Signalisierungsvorrichtung aktivieren kann. Die Signalisierungsvorrichtung kann ein akustisches Signal und/oder ein Leuchtsignal ausgeben, damit das mit dem erfindungsgemässen Lokalisierungs- und Kommunikationssystem ausgerüstete Feuerlöschgerät im Brandfall problemlos und schnell lokalisiert werden kann.
