Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018127383A1] The invention relates to a device (10) for pumping viscous material out of a container, comprising a delivery pump (16) which has a delivery cylinder (20) and a delivery piston that can be moved back and forth in the delivery cylinder (20) and comprising a measuring device (24) for measuring the speed of the delivery piston. According to the invention, the measuring device (24) has a control unit (32) for controlling the delivery of the viscous material depending on the measured speed of the delivery piston, and a waste line (36) branches away from a delivery line (18) connected to the delivery pump (16) for the viscous material, wherein the control unit (32) can be used to block the delivery line (18) and release the waste line (36).
