Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018127580A1] The invention relates to a plug comprising a contact carrier (2), which is connected to or can be connected to a wire of a cable and which supports contact elements (1) extending in the direction of a plug axis (A), and comprising a shield contact assembly, which forms separated shield contact tongues (3) extending on a first circular arc line about the plug axis (A) and in the direction of the plug axis (A). According to the invention, the shield contact tongues (3) have contact springs (4) facing radially outwards in an end section lying in front of the contact elements (1) and the contact carrier (2) in the direction of the plug axis (A), said contact tongues being cut free out of the substantially rectangular end sections, thereby forming a respective peripherally closed window (9). The invention additionally relates to a plug assembly comprising such a plug and a matching mating plug.
