Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Reinigen einer Prozessanlage (400), insbesondere einer Prozessanlage der Lebensmittel- und Getränkeindustrie, umfassend: eine Zugabe eines gasförmigen Mediums (103) zu einem flüssigen Reinigungsmedium (102) zur Bildung einer Reinigungsströmung (105), welche als Blasenströmung oder Kolbenblasenströmung durch die zu reinigenden Teile der Prozessanlage strömt.
