[origin: WO2018130753A1] The invention relates to a motor vehicle structure (1) which comprises two laterally situated side members (13) for rocker panels (2) and two side panels (15) also situated laterally. Each of these side panels (15) comprises a lower portion (19) which is secured to a lower edge (23) of the corresponding side member (13) for a rocker panel (2) and, in the case of at least one of the side panels (15), the lower portion (19) is formed by an auxiliary longitudinal section (17) attached to an adjacent portion (27) of the side panel (15) by a combination of bonding and clinching.
