[origin: WO2018130608A1] The invention relates to a device and a method for producing a multicolor yarn from different color filaments which consist of a plurality of continuous filaments. At least two filaments (F1 - Fn) are guided into a stretching device (1) where they are guided from a pair of run-in rollers (3.1, 3.2) to at least two pairs of stretching rollers (5.1, 5.2; 6.1, 6.2) and are stretched by same, a texturing device (8) with a cooling drum (9) being arranged downstream of the stretching rollers. The invention is characterized in that at least one nozzle (4.7) is arranged upstream of the texturing device (8), wherein each filament (F1... Fn) is knotted separately in the nozzle, and at least one yarn (G1, G2) is formed from the filaments (F1... Fn) in the texturing nozzle (8).
