[origin: WO2018130423A1] The invention relates to a device for securing a pivotable element, such as a door, a window or the like, comprising a fastening unit (2) for fastening the device to an edge of the pivotable element, a stopper unit (4), which is designed to engage with an abutment, and an actuating unit (6), which is mounted on the fastening unit (2) and is operationally connected to the stopper unit (4) such that a rotary movement of the actuating unit (6) generates a translatory movement of the stopper unit (4).
