[origin: WO2018132344A1] A scroll-type displacement machine has fixed and orbiting scrolls (20, 30) and an Oldham rotation prevention ring (50). A drive module (40) positioned between the orbiting scroll (30) and drive shaft (71) incorporates an eccentric drive system (42) and first and second counterweights (48, 49) for dynamic balancing. The motor (70), motor bearings, and motor shaft or drive shaft (71) form a separate modular unit attached to the compressor frame (80). A low-pressure port (21) is located at a radial outer portion of the fixed scroll and a high-pressure discharge port (39) is located in the floor of the orbiting scroll at its axis, with high pressure flow passing over and around the eccentric drive bearing and drive mechanism. The Oldham ring (50) is distributed on a lateral or radial plane of the scroll pair with a portion surrounding a portion of the fixed scroll (20) and another portion surrounding a portion of the orbiting scroll (30) and may be formed as four arcuate members (57, 58) arranged on two levels.
