Abstract (en)
A sealing element (10) for sealing a flute of a fluted metal deck is described. The sealing element (10) comprises a body (12) and a coating (14) surrounding the body (12). The body (12) has a predefined geometry adapted to seal the flute, wherein the body (12) is flexible and the cross sectional area of the body (12) in a direction perpendicular to the flute axis is larger than the cross sectional area (20) of the flute the sealing element (10) is designed to seal.
