[origin: WO2019219408A1] The invention relates to an item of furniture comprising: a furniture carcass (1) having an opening (9), a furniture cover panel (2) for closing the opening (9), the furniture cover panel (2) defining a cover-panel plane (D), and a cover-panel fitting (3) which comprises the following: - a base element (10) which is fastened to a side wall of the furniture carcass (1), - a pivot arm (11) which is pivotally fastened to the base element (10), - a pivot-arm-side connecting element (12) which is pivotally connected to the pivot arm (11), - a cover-panel-side connecting element (14) which has a fastening surface (15) arranged in parallel with the cover-panel plane (D) and can be mounted, in a mounting direction (M), on the pivot-arm-side connecting element (12) so as to be in parallel with the fastening surface (15) by a movement relative to the pivot-arm-side connecting element (12), - a ramp surface (17) on one of the two connecting elements (12, 14), which ramp surface is arranged so as to be inclined relative to the fastening surface (15), and - a sliding element (18) which is arranged on the other of the two connecting elements (12, 4) and slides along the ramp surface (17) when the cover-panel-side connecting element (14) is moved in the mounting direction (M).
