[origin: WO2018134337A1] The invention relates to a connecting corner piece for a drainage channel having two angularly arranged channel portions (10, 11) which each have side walls (12a, 12b) and a channel bottom (13) and form an inflow opening (14) and an outflow opening (15). The connecting corner piece is distinguished by the fact that the inflow opening (14) and the outflow opening (15) are arranged to form a gradient at different height positions with respect to a reference plane which runs through the upper edge (17) of the side walls (12a, 12b), wherein the channel bottom (13) of a respective channel portion (10, 11) is formed from a plurality of bottom elements (16a, 16b, 16c) which are arranged at an inclination at least in the gradient direction.
