[origin: WO2018137844A1] Transmission component between at least one driveshaft and an output shaft within a drive train, the transmission component comprising at least one transmission stage with a transmission ratio between the driveshaft and the output shaft and having at least one transmission wheel which is connected to a driveshaft and one transmission wheel which is connected to an output shaft. Each transmission stage is configured as a traction belt drive with a fixed transmission ratio and is arranged within a housing which closes off the transmission components separately. The transmission wheels are configured as pulley wheels of the traction belt drive and are mounted in the housing, and the traction belt drive has at least one traction belt which wraps around the pulley wheels in a frictionally locking and/or positively locking manner in order to transmit a torque and a rotational speed. The driveshafts and output shafts can be connected through housing openings to the respective transmission wheels which are situated within the housing for conjoint rotation.
