[origin: WO2018138330A1] The invention relates to a fitting system for fitting medical accessory carriers, in particular medical accessory containers, for treating a patient. The fitting system has a storage device for a plurality of medical accessories of at least two types, a selecting device for medical accessories, and a fitting region for a medical accessory carrier. Additionally, the fitting system has an accessory database for data sets pertaining to the plurality of medical accessories, said data sets relating to one or more treatments of patients, and a data storage device for the accessory database, said data storage device being designed to store the accessory database. The fitting system additionally has one or more data interfaces, at least one of the data interfaces being designed to receive one or more selection parameters, in particular treatment data or patient data, relating to the treatment of the patient. Finally, the fitting system has a data processing device which is designed to carry out a selection method. The selection method has at least the following method steps: in one method step, one or more accessory set parameters, which characterize a medical accessory set consisting of one or more medical accessories which are suitable for treating the patient, are determined using the accessory database at least on the basis of the selection parameter; and in an additional method step, the selecting device for medical accessories is actuated on the basis of the accessory set parameter. The selecting device for medical accessories is designed to remove the medical accessories of the accessory set out of the storage device according to the actuation and dispense same at the fitting region.
