[origin: WO2018166736A1] The invention relates to a circuit breaker (1) having a plurality of interrupter units (5 to 8), each having at least one movable switch element (13) for opening and closing a current path of the interrupter unit (5 to 8), wherein the current paths of all interrupter units (5 to 8) are electrically connected in series. The circuit breaker (1) has a drive (21), to which each movable switch element (13) is coupled via a kinematic chain for moving the switch element (13), wherein the kinematic chains are at least approximately equal in length.
