Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018141599A1] The invention describes, and claims, a pole handle (1), in particular for a cross-country pole, trekking pole, ski pole or Nordic walking pole, having a fastening mechanism which is intended for a hand strap (15, 23) and makes it possible to secure the hand loop (23) with loop strips (15, 15') at variable lengths, wherein the fastening mechanism is arranged in a recess (8) in the head region of the pole handle (1). The fastening mechanism comprises a clamping element (11), which is arranged in the recess (8) and is mounted such that it can be rotated about a rotary pin (7) arranged transversely to a pole axis (28) or pole-handle axis, wherein the recess (8) is configured in the form of a through-opening which is oriented at an acute angle to the pole axis (28) and of which the lower opening (9) opens out in the outward direction within or above a rear handle region (4), which is directed towards the palm, and the upper opening (10) opens out in the upward direction towards the upper side of the pole handle (1). The clamping element (11) has a lever region (14), which is arranged substantially in the through-opening and through which the rotary pin (7) passes, and a head region, which projects upwards out of the recess (8) of the handle and has a loop opening (22) and a pressure-exerting surface (12), wherein the loop strips (15, 15') are guided through the through-opening, past the lever region (14), and through a loop opening (22) of the clamping element (11), the free ends of the loop strips exiting from the loop opening (22) at the top, wherein the clamping element (11) can be secured in a clamping position in which the loop strips (15) are clamped in a force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner between the lever region (14) and a wall of the through-opening or a fixing element (17), by a latching nose (24) of the clamping element latching in in a releasable manner behind a protrusion of the handle head or behind a latching protrusion (31) of the fixing element (17), and wherein the clamping action can be released by virtue of the clamping element (11) being tilted around the rotary pin (7), the latching nose (24) being freed in the process.
