Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018142060A1] The invention relates to a cold water recovery device (1) for a shower, which recovers, in a reservoir (22), the cold water present in a hot water supply pipe (18) when the shower starts. The device comprises a mixing valve (2) that can be set to a first temperature setpoint by actuation of a first controller, the mixing valve being opened and closed by actuating a second controller. The device comprises a divert valve (16) which can be set to a second temperature setpoint and which serves to direct the water flowing in the pipe (18) toward the reservoir until the temperature of this water has reached the second temperature setpoint, and then to direct the water toward the mixing valve or the outlet of the shower pipe. The water stored in the reservoir is then re-injected upstream or downstream of the mixing valve by means of a Venturi system (26). A first transmission system actuated by the first controller proportionally modifies the temperature setpoints.
