[origin: WO2018141682A1] The invention relates to a contact blade for a socket-like connector part, formed from a sheet metal strip bent substantially in a U-shape, the sides of the U forming two mutually opposed contact arms which run towards each other in a central section of their length and which are each divided into two parallel, adjacent contact pieces by slots running over most of their length. In the region in which the contact arms are closest, a contact slot is made in each of the contact pieces in the longitudinal direction thereof, said contact slot in each case being shorter than the slot running parallel to it in the respective contact arm, so that each contact piece forms two contact skids in some sections on both sides of the contact slot. The contact slots each have a transverse bulge towards the middle of each identical contact arm, as a result of which the outer contact skids on each contact arm together with a bulge form a widened section in each case. The invention also relates to a socket-like connector part which has a contact blade of this type.
