Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018166915A1] The invention relates to a switch cabinet key (1), comprising a central main body (2), from which a plurality of key arms (3, 4, 5, 6) protrude radially, on the radial outer ends of which, tool heads are formed. At least one tool head (31, 41, 51, 61) is configured as a socket spanner, in which the tool head has a first drive profile (511) for actuating a lock or the like, which extends in a primary key arm tool plane of the respective key arm (3, 4, 5, 6). In order to increase the longevity (service life) of such a switch cabinet key while retaining the weight thereof, according to the invention, at least one tool head (31, 41, 51, 61) is configured to actuate two different fastening means, and for that purpose has a second drive profile (512), and the second drive profile (512) is arranged proximally offset from the first drive profile (511) in a secondary key arm tool plane of the key arm tool plane, and at least corners of the second drive profile (512) are partially formed in the primary key arm tool plane for forming pre-engagement surfaces.
