[origin: WO2018153774A1] The invention relates to an adapter (6) for fastening a bottom (2) to a side frame (5) of a drawer (1) for a piece of furniture, which adapter comprises a first groove-shaped receiving channel (9), into which a bottom (2) can be inserted between a first wall (13) and a second wall (14), at least one claw (10) protruding into the receiving channel (9) in order to fasten the bottom (2), a second groove-shaped receiving channel (8) being provided on the adapter (6), in which second groove-shaped receiving channel a rear wall (3) can be inserted by means of an edge region and can be fastened in clamping manner by means of at least one claw (11). The invention further relates to a method for assembling a drawer (1) having such an adapter (6).
