[origin: WO2018152844A1] A handheld vacuum cleaner (10) includes a fluid flow path extending from a dirty air inlet (14) to a clean air outlet (18), a main body (22), and a motor assembly (114) positioned in the main body (22) and along the fluid flow path. The motor defines a motor rotational axis. The handheld vacuum cleaner (10) also includes a cyclonic chamber (30) positioned in the fluid flow path. The cyclonic chamber (30) defines a separator axis. The separator axis and the motor rotational axis form an obtuse angle extending between the cyclonic chamber (30) and the motor assembly (114). The handheld vacuum cleaner (10) further includes a pre-motor filter in the fluid flow path downstream from the cyclonic chamber (30) and upstream from the motor assembly (114), a plenum (386) in the fluid flow path immediately upstream from the motor assembly (114), and a sensor (402) positioned on the plenum. The sensor (402) is operable to measure a characteristic of the fluid flow path.
