[origin: WO2018153892A1] The present invention relates to a method for providing ultrasonic signal information, comprising the steps of receiving a plurality of echo signals (10), determining a correlation between individual echo signals (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) of the plurality of echo signals (10) on the basis of a run time (30) and/or a significance of the echo signals (11, 12, 13, 14, 15), grouping the echo signals (11, 12, 13, 14, 15), for which a correlation has been determined, in an echo signal group (20, 21, 22), and providing a property which is characteristic for the echo signal group (20, 21, 22). The present invention further relates to a device associated with the method.
