Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018192751A1] The invention relates to an arrangement (1) and a method for switching high currents in high-voltage technology for a pole, having at least one first and having at least one second contact (2, 3). A contact (2, 3) has at least two contact pieces, which are in electrical and/or mechanical contact with one another in the closed switching state. The at least one first and the at least one second contact are each configured as rated current contacts, which are connected in parallel with one another. The at least two parallel-connected rated current contacts (2, 3) are switched in a common housing (4).
