Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018158034A1] Cooking vessel (1) comprising a cooking recipient (2) and a lid (3), the cooking recipient having a body (20) defining a cooking space (21) and having a planar top side (22), the lid (3) having a circumferential rim (30) and a downwardly depending flange (31) with at least one integrated pouring opening (32, 34) for pouring off cooking liquid. The lid (3) is provided for being positioned on top of the body (20) in a cooking position and in a pouring position in which the lid enables pouring off cooking liquid through the pouring opening (32, 34). The lid (3) and the cooking recipient (2) together have cooperating retaining elements (23, 33) to position and hold the lid (3) in the pouring position, in which the lid (3) is held a predetermined distance above the body and is tiltable to maximize the pouring opening.
