Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018141906A1] The invention concerns a safety system for transport of an occupant supported on a mattress or a foundation structure. The safety system comprises at least one sensor, a control unit and at least one airbag assembly arranged in signal communication and operably arranged to respond to sudden acceleration, deceleration or impact, by activation of the at least one airbag assembly for inflation of at least one air bag of the airbag assembly to protect and essentially maintain the occupant's position on the mattress or the foundation structure. The invention also comprises use and method claims.
