[origin: WO2018157188A1] The invention relates to a casting device (9) for casting moulded parts, in particular moulded metal parts, in particular chassis parts, the device comprising: at least one casting mould (10) which comprises a lower casting mould part (11) and an upper casting mould part (12); a first platform (1) on which the lower casting mould part (11) is mounted; and a second platform (2) on which the upper casting mould part (12) is mounted and which is connected to the first platform (1), one of the casting mould parts (12), preferably the upper casting mould part, being movable relative to the other casting mould part (11) in a first direction (3) between a closed casting mould position and an open casting mould position, and one of the casting mould parts (12), preferably the upper casting mould part, being pivotable about a pivot axis (4) which runs transversely, preferably substantially perpendicularly, to the first direction (3). To increase the flexibility of the casting device and to facilitate removal of the moulded part and cleaning of the casting mould parts, one of the casting mould parts (12), preferably the upper casting mould part, is movable relative to the other casting mould part (11) in a second direction (5) which is transverse, preferably substantially perpendicular, to the pivot axis (4) and transverse, preferably substantially perpendicular, to the first direction (3).
