[origin: EP3366795A1] The present invention relates to a cutting tool comprising a cemented carbide substrate comprising WC, a metallic binder phase and gamma phase, where the cemented carbide has a well distributed gamma phase and where the cemented carbide have a reduced amount of abnormal WC grains. The cutting tool according to the invention has a more predicted tool life and an increased resistance against plastic deformation.
