Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018157998A1] The invention relates to a method for the ventilation of a crankcase (3) of an internal combustion engine (2), having at least the following steps: a) supplying at least one cylinder (4) of the internal combustion engine (2) with air via an intake region (10), b) guiding gas out of the crankcase (3) via a crankcase ventilating line (13) into the intake region (10), c) determining at least one comparison value for comparison with a pressure parameter which is measured in the crankcase ventilating line, d) measuring at least one pressure parameter in the crankcase ventilating line (13), e) comparing the at least one pressure parameter which is measured in step c) with the comparison value, and f) triggering at least one warning function (15) if it is detected in step d) that the at least one pressure parameter differs from the corresponding comparison value by more than one predefinable value.
