[origin: WO2018158693A1] This application makes improvement to a range hood and a housing assembly therefor. The housing assembly for the range hood provided in this application includes a housing member, and further includes a telescopic member. The telescopic member is provided with a camera (3); the housing member is provided with an accommodation chamber, and the telescopic member is fixed in the accommodation chamber; the telescopic member is set to be capable of switching between an extension location and a contraction location; when the telescopic member is located at the extension location, the camera (3) is placed out of the accommodation chamber; and when the telescopic member is located at the contraction location, the camera (3) is hidden in the accommodation chamber. In this way, the camera (3) provides a selection of an exposed status and a hidden status for a user. This not only increases selections for the user, but also helps reduce grease adhered to the camera.
