Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3590682A1] An injection molding machine includes: a double toggle mechanism including a pair of link groups including a first link and a second link which are bendably/stretchably connected to each other; a plurality of tie bars which extend in mold opening and closing directions according to a mold clamping force generated by operating the double toggle mechanism; and a tie bar balance measurer which measures a balance of the plurality of tie bars, in which the tie bar balance measurer includes a tie bar strain measurement unit which measures strains of the plurality of tie bars generated by mold clamping, a balance measurement unit which measures the balance of the plurality of tie bars based on a measurement result of the tie bar strain measurement unit, a balance change measurement unit which measures a change in the balance measured by the balance measurement unit when the mold clamping force is changed, and a toggle symmetry evaluation unit which evaluates a symmetry of the double toggle mechanism based on a measurement result of the balance change measurement unit.
