[origin: CA3104770A1] The invention relates to a lid (100) for a container, in particular for a can, the lid comprising: a lid panel (10) with a rupture region (11), which is at least partly surrounded by a predetermined breaking line (12), and with a fastening element (20) located on the lid panel; a lever pull (30), rotatably fastened to the fastening element, for rupturing the rupture region along the predetermined breaking line towards an underside of the lid panel, thereby providing a removal opening (15) in the lid panel; a sealing element (40) fastened to the lever pull, wherein in order to seal the removal opening, said sealing element can be applied to an upper side of the lid panel, sealingly enclosing the removal opening; and a locking element (50) for locking the sealing element, when the removal opening has been sealed by said element.
