[origin: WO2018167310A1] Disclosed is a method for functionalizing acrylate polymers using a functionalizing agent at temperatures of 50 °C to 350 °C, said agent containing at least one primary or secondary amino group which is reacted with a carboxyl group of the acrylate polymers to obtain an amide function, the reaction taking place in the absence of a solvent. Also disclosed are modified acrylate polymers that can be obtained by said method.
