[origin: WO2018167599A1] The present invention concerns a timepiece component (1) comprising at least one housing (6) intended to receive at least one precious or non-precious stone (7, 7') and comprising at least one first end (61), referred to as the setting end, and a rail (8). The rail (8) is located on the periphery of the housing (6), and is arranged to allow the stone or stones (7, 7') to be inserted into the rail (8) at the first end (61) of the housing (6), such that the stone or stones (7, 7') can slide in said rail (8) along the longitudinal axis of the housing (6), and to hold the stone or stones (7, 7') once inserted into the rail (8) in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the housing (6).
