Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018165683A1] The invention relates to a gas-guiding part (10, 10'), which is porous or at least porous in some sections, for an electro-chemical module (20). The electro-chemical module (20) has at least one electro-chemical cell unit (21) which has a layer structure (23) with at least one electro-chemically active layer, and a metallic, gas-tight housing (24; 25), which forms a gas-tight process gas chamber (26) with the electro-chemical cell unit (21). The housing (24; 25) extends on at least one side beyond the region of the electro-chemical cell unit (21), thereby forming a process gas-guiding chamber (27; 27'), which is open to the electro-chemical cell unit and has at least one gas passage opening (28; 28') for feeding and/or discharging the process gas in the region of the process gas guiding chamber (27; 27'). Thereby, the gas guiding part (10, 10) is adapted for arrangement inside the process gas-guiding chamber (27; 27) and the surface of said gas guiding part is functionalized for interaction with the process gas.
