[origin: US2020025193A1] A method for operating a hydraulic consumer on an electrically actuated control valve includes providing the valve with an open valve position for establishing a connection between a valve inlet and a pilot line for influencing a pivot angle set on an axial piston pump and a system pressure which is present at the valve inlet and dependent on the pivot angle. Data regarding the current system pressure and the current pivot angle are detected and communicated to a control unit. The method includes determining an incorrect setting of the control valve if the control unit detects that a delivery volume flow of the axial piston pump is smaller than a value to be expected based on valve position, or the control unit detects that the system pressure present at the valve inlet is at a maximum without a delivery volume flow flowing in the direction of the hydraulic consumer.

Verfahren zum Betreiben eines hydraulischen Verbrauchers (26a, 26b) an einem elektrisch betätigbaren Steuerventil (18a, 18b), das in einer geöffneten Ventilstellung (58a, 60a, 58b, 60b) eine Verbindung zwischen einem Ventileinlass (42a, 42b) und einer mit einem Steueranschluss (48a, 48b) verbundenen Pilotleitung (50) zur Beeinflussung eines an einer Axialkolbenpumpe (40) einstellbaren Schwenkwinkels (α) herstellt, die einen am Ventileinlass (42a, 42b) anliegenden, vom Schwenkwinkel (α) abhängigen Systemdruck (p<sub>sys</sub>) bereitstellt, wobei einer Kontrolleinheit (16) sensorisch gewonnene Informationen hinsichtlich des aktuellen Systemdrucks (p<sub>sys</sub>) sowie des aktuellen Schwenkwinkels (α) der Axialkolbenpumpe (40) zugeführt werden, um bei angeschlossenem hydraulischen Verbraucher (26a, 26b) auf eine Fehleinstellung entweder des Steuerventils (18a) zu schließen, wenn von der Kontrolleinheit (16) erkannt wird, dass ein sich aus dem aktuellen Schwenkwinkel (α) ergebender Fördervolumenstrom der Axialkolbenpumpe (40) kleiner ist als ein aufgrund der Ventilstellung des Steuerventils (18a) zu erwartender Wert, oder aber des Systemdrucks (p<sub>sys</sub>) zu schließen, wenn von der Kontrolleinheit (16) erkannt wird, dass der an dem Ventileinlass (42a, 42b) anliegende Systemdruck (p<sub>sys</sub>) maximal ist, ohne dass ein Fördervolumenstrom in Richtung des hydraulischen Verbrauchers (26b) fließt.
