Abstract (en)
A fuel rail (2) for a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine comprises an elongate substantially tubular fuel rail (2) having a fuel inlet (4) and a plurality of fuel outlets (12) spaced along the fuel rail (2) along a common axis. The fuel rail (2) has a substantially uniform cross-section and having a peripheral wall (16) with a portion (14) having an increased thickness in the region of the common axis so that the fuel outlets (12) are located in the portion (14) of the peripheral wall (16) having the increased thickness.
