Abstract (en)

The present invention related to a maintenance management system for assisting an operator to rectify a fault in an automation system (126) in a plant (100). The maintenance management system comprises a server (102) and handheld devices (124) coupled to the server (102). The server (102) is configured for providing an engineering data table of an automation system (126), and predicting an abnormal condition associated with equipment (106, 112) in the automation system (126) based on the engineering data table and a real-time plant engineering data. The server (102) is configured for determining a corrective action for the predicted abnormal condition associated with the equipment (106,112) in the automation system (126). The corrective action rectifies the predicted abnormal condition associated with the equipment (106, 112). The server (102) is also configured for outputting the determined corrective action and the predicted abnormal condition associated with the equipment (106, 112) on a user interface.
