[origin: WO2018177575A1] The invention relates to a bottle-processing machine, such as a pasteuriser or a bottle-washing machine, comprising a pump/nozzle protector in the form of a screen, the screen comprising an at least partially perforated surface and being provided to be penetrated with a liquid from the bottle-processing machine. The bottle-processing machine is characterised by at least one scraper, at least part of which lies on the at least partially perforated surface of the screen, the screen and the at least one scraper being rotatably mounted with respect to one another. The invention also relates to a method, preferably a computer-controlled method, for cleaning the screen of the bottle-processing machine according to the invention.
