[origin: WO2018171615A1] Provided are a construction toy set and an interlocking piece. The construction toy set (10) contains a plurality of interlocking pieces. Each of the interlocking pieces contains at least one linkage construct (12). Each linkage construct (12) includes a pivot hub (20) that has a first surface (22) and an opposite second surface (24). Detents (30) are formed into both surfaces (22, 24) of the pivot hub (20). Two yoke arms (32) are coupled to each pivot hub (20). Protrusions (44) extend from the interior surfaces (36) that are sized to be received by one of the detents (30). Gap spaces (34, 46) separate the yoke arms (32). Each of the gap spaces (34, 46) is sized to receive and retain the pivot hub (20) of another piece, wherein the pivot hubs (20) on all the pieces are uniform in shape and size.
