Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018170525A1] The invention relates to a wire aligning system (1) for aligning a wire (2), comprising: - a machine frame (4); - a tool receiving area (5); - at least two aligning tools (10) for different wire diameters, said aligning tools being received in the tool receiving area (5) in a rotatable manner with respect to parallel tool axes (14), wherein the aligning tools (10) are arranged on the tool receiving area (5) at a distance (43) from the central rotational axis (6), and the individual aligning tools (10) can be adjusted between a rest position and an aligning position by rotating the tool receiving area (5) about the central rotational axis (6); - a drive motor (19) for driving the aligning tools (10); and - a torque transmission unit (18) for each aligning tool (10), said torque transmission unit being designed to transmit a torque between the drive motor (19) and the respective aligning tool (10). The tool receiving area (5) is designed such that the wire (2) remains in the aligning tools (10) while adjusting the aligning tools (10) between the rest position and the aligning position.
